Gates Mills Police Department
Proud to Serve…Sworn to Protect
From Your Police Department:
The Police Department recently participated in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Program. During that time, we collected 38 lbs of unwanted/unused medication and had participation from 22 residents. This is the largest amount we have ever collected in this very successful program.
The police department is asking for your assistance in order to keep us updated with your contact information at the Town Hall. We want to be sure that we have accurate information in the event we need to reach you. We are asking that each resident take the time to complete the Gates Mills Contact Information Form in the Pink Sheet and return it to us so that we can verify and/or update our records. You can return the form by scanning and emailing it to email@example.com, by fax at 440.423.2002, or simply drop it off here at the town hall. Please note that all of your information is stored in our secure database. If you have any questions about the form please contact us at the town hall during regular business hours. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
With the warm weather arriving, please be cognizant of your speed as you travel on our village roadways. Often times, warm and sunny days lead to motorists exceeding the posted speed limit. Our goal is voluntary compliance with regard to speed while trying to reduce our motor vehicle accidents.
Be aware that the Village does not issue door to door solicitation permits for product sales. Please contact the police department if any solicitors come to your residence so that we can respond to identify them. Please remember to never disclose any personal information to them.
And finally, I would also like to recognize and congratulate both Sgt. Randy Savage and Sgt. Michael Pollutro who recently completed their 18th year serving the Village of Gates Mills as full time police officers. Both Randy and Michael do a tremendous job for the department and we are fortunate to have them here in the Village.
Have a great summer!
Until next month – Proud to serve…Sworn to Protect
Yours in Service,
Chief of Police
