Dear Villagers,

Hopefully everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. December brings the village our beautiful holiday lighting provided by our Service Department. They do a lovely job for us.

I am very pleased to tell everyone that we were awarded the grant we applied for to enhance and add to our tennis and recreation area. Spring will be fun as we add to this Village area. I am very excited. Many thanks are given to Janet Mulh, Dave Biggert, and Gail Palmer for submitting a well-done application.

Our Hanukkah Celebration and Menorah Lighting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 12th at 5:00 p.m. in the park across the street from Town Hall and next to the library. Potato pancakes and refreshments will be offered at Town Hall immediately following the lighting.

Christmas Eve with Santa is provided by the Gates Mills Improvement Society at the Polo Field. The event begins at 4:30 p.m.

We have many things to be thankful for this year. Our Village is a treasure. Our residents and volunteers are what keep it shining.
