Gates Mills

From the Mayor - June 2017
Wednesday, May. 31st

Our Village is so beautiful!  Lush green is everywhere with splashes of colorful flowers.  Our parks and gardens are looking great thanks to our hard-working Service Department.

Clean-up activities in the Village are off to a good start.  Shredding day resulted in 4,180 pounds of material being destroyed, while four pallets of materials were collected on our Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day and was taken to the County facility.  The Drug Turn-In event was very successful with twenty-nine pounds of unused medicines being collected.  These efforts all help to make our footprint green.

The Fourth of July Parade planning is underway.  You can find more details for the annual parade inside The Pink Sheet.  Join us for a wonderful event!

With summer starting, children will be around the Village as they attend various camps.  Please be cautious when you drive through the Village as children may be crossing the streets.  As always, residents are the eyes and ears of the Village and are encouraged to call if something does not look right.
