A Special Meeting of the Architecural Review Board will be held at the Town Hall Council Chambers at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024
Purpose: A hearing to discuss the public nuisance and unsafe structure located at 640 Chagrin River Road.

I hope you have enjoyed a month of beautiful September weather and look forward to the crisp mornings that are upon us. October is truly the month where spectacular colors show the change of seasons and one of the treasures of living in the Midwest and in the Chagrin River Valley.
Most damage to the Village property from the August 6th storm has been addressed. There are still areas to tackle such as mangled guardrails, tree removal and chipping. Our recovery claim to FEMA has been submitted and we are in the review queue.
A meeting of the Broadband Committee will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Hall, Council Chambers.
Purpose: To review broadband terms and recommendation to council.

A meeting of the Tree Canopy Subcommittee will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to to discuss the bid process for removing invasives on targeted properties in the Village owned by the Village, GMLC and Metroparks..
A Meeting of the Wastewater System Committee will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 2:30 a.m. in the Town Hall, Council chambers.
The purpose of the meeting is an update on grant and loan application.

Hello Villagers,
On August 6th, our village experienced a ferocious storm that brought severe damage and destruction in less than twenty minutes. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured during the storm or in the immediate hours and days following it. Yet, fourteen homes and structures were severely damaged, particularly in the Battles, Brigham, Riverview, Saddleback and northern Chagrin River Road areas.
