Dear Villagers,

The Village’s Halloween Party was held on October 20th and was filled with lots of children in wonderful costumes, treats for all, hayrides, and Outback Ray with his exotic animals! Special thanks to Joycelyn Brogley and Doug Webb for organizing the party and to all of the volunteers who helped. A big thank you is given to our Service Department, Community Building staff and Town Hall Coordinators for all of the work preparing and setting up the party.

News Article - Rx Drug Drop Box Program

The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to fight the ongoing battle against the heroin and opiate epidemic. As part of its prevention effort, the CCSD has provided over 42 municipalities across Cuyahoga County with Rx Drug Drop Boxes.

Rx Drug Drop Boxes provide a safe, environmentally friendly way for citizens to dispose of their unwanted or unused prescription drugs. Unused prescription drugs are typically the gateway to heroin abuse, as over 70% of Americans misusing painkillers obtain them from friends or relatives.

News Article - MEETUP SPOT – For Safe Internet Sales Transactions

Gates Mills has placed an internet MEETUP SPOT sign on Village Property located in the Vestibule of Town Hall.  This location is designated as a safe sales transaction location for all legal online sales.  This location is observed by cameras that are recorded digitally.  Residents are welcome to use this location to make the transfer of items sold online.
