The Friends of the Gates Mills Branch Library book sale begins with a special Gates Mills Friends member's preview sale.

Did you know that without magnets, many of todays technologies like cell phones and computers wouldn't work? Teens in grades 6-12 are welcomed to join us as we take a critical look at magnets and explore magnetic fields, attraction and repulsion, and even the iron in your cereal.
Join us for a discussion of *A Man Called Ove* by Fredrik Backman. A curmudgeon hides a terrible personal loss beneath a cranky and short-tempered exterior while clashing with new neighbors, a boisterous family whose chattiness and habits lead to unexpected friendship.

Join us for a discussion of the last half of Diana Gabalon's timeless book *The Outlander*. Claire Randall travels back in time from 1945 to 1743. She is thrown into a war and has to fend for herself in a brutal time and place.

Children ages 4-7 with a caregiver are welcomed to play story games and make up you own silly tales. This program strengthens essential language and reading skills with fun, creative, hands-on activities.
Chill out and relax as Jeremy Avalos plays live classical music on his guitar. From Elizabethan music (John Dowland) to contemporary guitar art music (Leo Brouwer) and everything in between participants will be enthralled.
The Friends of the Gates Mills Branch Library featured artist in May~June will be Melissa Richmond with her quilts. The show will run for approximately six weeks during library hours.

Adults are welcomed to explore hands-on digital creation as you create your own design using 3D modeling program. Tinkercad! Your item will be printed on Cuyahoga County Public Library's 3D printer and will be available for pick up one week after the program.
