Purpose
To stimulate and enhance a sense of community by rewarding residents that go above-and-beyond in decorating their home for the winter holiday season. Award guidelines will be established by Gates Mills Improvement Society and Village Council.
Categories
Prizes (Sara's Gift Certificates) will be awarded for the following categories:
- Most Beautiful - The display that fills you with awe.
- Most Creative - The display that utilizes decorations in an unexpected way or is unique.
- Brightest in the Village - The display you can see from outer space!
- Judges Award - The display that just "blew the judges' minds"
- People's Choice - The display that gets the most online votes.
Registration - 2023 REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
Registration will be accepted through 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20th, 2023.

You can also nominate a house that you think is FABULOUS! (House must be in the Village of Gates Mills).
Rules
- For Residents of the Village of Gates Mills only
- Decorations for the contest must be available and lit up on December 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. for judging.
- Last day to enter is by 4:00 p.m. on December 20th
- By entering, you agree to a picture of your display to be placed on the Village of Gates Mills website
People's Choice award - a photo and address will be displayed on the Village of Gates Mills website for anyone to vote on. The household with the most votes will win the "People's Choice" award.
