Dear Villagers,

Spring has come! Good weather and a degree of normalcy seems to be right around the corner. We are all looking forward to our lush, green Village.

Spring means clean-up and fix-up time is here. Our Annual Road Clean-Up list is in the April issue of The Pink Sheet. Please offer to help during the clean-up weekend (April 29-May 1) as we all benefit from our Village’s beauty. Also remember to apply for permits for fences and tree cutting. We are here to help you with any questions you have. Please call Town Hall at 440-423-4405 for any assistance you need.

The Village will hold our Traditional Easter Egg Hunt this year! Bring your baskets to the Village Green on Saturday, April 16th to take pictures with the bunny and take part in the hunt! The hunt will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. You can join us in Kalberer Pavilion in Marston Park after the hunt to pick-up a take-home snack! Hop on down the trail and enjoy this wonderful event with us!

Our Community Club is offering specially designed safety vests for sale to all of our dog walkers, bike riders and walkers as a part of their “Light Up for Safety” program. Please visit their page in the April Pink Sheet for details or contact Sandra Turner at turner4gm@gmail.com.

Mark your calendar for the Gates Mills Annual Art Show! The show will be open April 24th – May 8th. You can visit on weekdays from 12-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. or on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. Admission is free and it is open to the public. If you are interested in volunteering some of your time to the art show, please contact gatesmillsartshow@gmail.com. If you become an Art Show Patron, you are invited to the Patron Party on April 23rd and have a chance to purchase artwork prior to the show’s formal opening on Sunday, April 24th.

Interested in what happens at our council meetings? Council has its regular meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are currently held in the Community House. You may attend in person, watch the livestream of the meeting, or watch the recorded meeting on our YouTube channel!
