In our Village everything is a healthy green, while flower colors are pretty and bright. Let’s hope for normal rains not monsoons the rest of summer.

We had a wonderful Marston Park opening! With families from near and far, it was great! The weather was beautiful for the Gates Mills Garden Club Tour and our park celebration. Thank you to all our Gates Mills team – supporters, employees and residents.

Summer brings camp, bikes and kids everywhere in the Village. Please provide room for them when you are passing. We have many activities coming up this summer. The Pink Sheet and our website are great resources for finding out what events are taking place in the Village. Our annual July 4th parade is always the highlight of summer. The parade schedule is detailed in this issue. I hope to see you there! The Community Club will have hot dogs and drinks available for purchase while you enjoy meeting some of your neighbors!

We are looking for bocce, pickleball and tennis players. There are going to be some fun, open plays coming up. Please come to learn and cheer on everyone. One open bocce time will be held just before the Summer Band Concert, Sunday, July 21, from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Join in the fun with others in a no-skills-required game!

The Summer Band Concert will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 5:30 p.m. This is always a great family event. Red Light Roxy will be performing while children can be entertained by “Flower Clown” who makes the most brilliant balloon creations! Bring your picnic and enjoy the evening at Village Hall.
With August right around the corner, we must remember schools will be starting. Please use caution when driving through town.
