Summer is here, bringing plenty of chances to enjoy the outdoors, reconnect with neighbors, and engage with our community. Here are a few upcoming opportunities:

ENCORE - Gates Mills Music and Ideas Festival
Running from June 2 to June 22, this festival features performances at several local venues, including the Dodero Center at Gilmour, Federated Church in Chagrin Falls, and the finale Camerata at the Gates Mills Community House. I hope to see you at one of these events! Tickets are available online at encorechambermusic.org.

Community Discussion on Senior Services – June 12 at 4:00 p.m.
Join us at Town Hall to discuss the needs of our senior residents. Wendy Albin Sattin, Executive Director of the Community Partnership on Aging, will share her insights. This is our first step in evaluating services and solutions for our aging population. We’ve already contacted residents who previously expressed interest, and we’re expecting about a dozen participants—but everyone is welcome to attend and join the conversation.

Marston Park Improvements
The racquet courts are in excellent condition after being repaired, resurfaced, and repainted last year. Thanks to the Marston Park Fund and many generous donors honoring Emily Wilson, a drinking fountain will soon be installed for both park users and their pets.

Bocce Courts Ready for Play
The bocce courts have been groomed and are ready for use. Equipment is stored in the small shed near the courts. To access it or reserve a time, contact Town Hall Coordinators Jean or Robin at 440-423-4405 for the combination.

Fourth of July Parade
Our beloved Independence Day parade is just around the corner! It’s a wonderful tradition that brings together families and friends in a festive, hometown celebration. Volunteers are always welcome—if you can help for a few hours, please contact Clark Langmack at 216-906-1066.
