In honor of the Village's Bicentenial year, we are excited to introduce a new and memorable addition to the 4th of July celebration—a series of hot air balloon rides prior to the Fourth of July festivities. These rides will not be open to general reservation, but rather will serve as a unique way to recognize members of our community who have truly made a difference.

We invite residents to nominate individuals who have consistently “risen to the occasion” and gone “above and beyond” in service to the Village of Gates Mills. These may be neighbors, volunteers, or community members whose quiet dedication, generosity, and commitment have helped make our Village such a special place to live.

From the nominations received, a small group of three to five honorees will be selected to enjoy this unforgettable experience—soaring above the Village they serve as a symbol of our collective appreciation.
