Safety Town (Afternoon Session)

In partnership with Gilmour Academy, the Gates Mills Police and Fire Departments:

Safety Town is a fun and engaging awareness program created to help preschool-aged children learn the importance of staying safe in their everyday world.  Through hands-on activities, interactive lessons and imaginative play, campers explore key safety topics including playground safety, outdoor safety, bus and vehicle awareness, traffic and pedestrian rules, bicycle safety, home and fire safety, animal safety, and understanding what to do around strangers or unsafe situations.  Designed especially for young learners, this program helps build confidence, responsibility and smart decision-making skills in a warm, supportive environment. 

Registration opens January 15th , 2026 at 12:00 AM. There are only 24 spots per session. There is no early registration discount for this camp.

*Child must be 4 years old on the first day of camp, and children who are 5 years old may participate only in the preschool camp option for this experience.*

Time: Morning Session: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
            Afternoon Session: 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

This year's Safety Town for children ages 4-5 will be held from June 8-12, 2026 at the Gilmour Academy.

Registration is limited and is being handled by Gilmour Academy.
Registration begins January 15th at 12:00 AM and will end when spots are filled.

Morning (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM)  and Afternoon (12:30-2:30 PM) sessions are available at a cost of $50.00
