Dear Villagers,

The Village’s Halloween Party was held on October 26^th and was filled with lots of children in wonderful costumes, treats for all, and Outback Ray with his exotic animals!  The rain did not dampen anyone’s spirits!  Special thanks to Joycelyn Brogley and Doug Webb for organizing the party and to all of the volunteers who helped.  A big thank you is given to our Service Department, Community Building staff and Town Hall Coordinators for all of the work preparing and setting up the party.

Our summer has gone by fast!  Fall is on the horizon after a very active July and August!  July brought us our wonderful July 4^th Parade.  The Gates Mills Improvement Society does a fantastic job organizing and funding our special traditions.  Your membership is vital in order to keep the Parade, Christmas Eve, and other supported events alive.

Dear Villagers,

Our beautiful fall has arrived!  Turning leaves with beautiful fall colors and crisp mornings leave us wanting hot chocolate, apple cider, and pumpkin pie by a nice fire!

I know we have been jarred and violated by our two robberies.  Our Gates Mills Police have done an amazing job finding and arresting the suspect.  We were assisted by the FBI and neighboring Police and SWAT teams.  We thank all who helped bring the situation to a quick end.
