Hello Villagers,

The winter months seem to be yielding to the promise of spring. At least that is how it felt this morning at 6am as we watered the plants in our greenhouse. New annuals are sprouting from seeds, cuttings are taking roots, potting mix is scattered over the floor and the tropical and annuals have withstood their temporary winter quarters in the greenhouse waiting for outside hardening in April.

In partnership with the Gilmour Academy, Gates Mills Police and Fire Departments, Safety Town is an early childhood program designed to prepare your child to evaluate “safe” from “unsafe” and to learn overall safety at home and away. Children must be safety minded. Throughout the 4 hour course, your child will learn safety behavior through visual aids, fun activities, actual demonstrations, and their own participation. Please be sure to ask your child about each day’s safety lesson.
